Book Drive for Nepal Astronomical Society
Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO) is a non profit organization established in July 2007 for astronomical development in Nepal. NASO has been conducting various astronomy programs for all levels throughout Nepal. Since IYA2009, NASO has got involved with plenty of international level activities making Nepal shine. Their tireless efforts can be seen at the NASO website.
To encourage and appreciate the efforts of NASO, Astronomical Society of Northern New England in Maine (US) and Southern Maine Astronomers in Portland, Maine (US) will be running a book drive lead by Joan Chamberlin.
